Free Tree Opportunity

To help rehabilitate the Mountain Shadows landscape following the Waldo Canyon Fire, trees are being made available at no charge on a first-come, first-served basis.

Recipients must have the ability to water and protect the trees. Volunteers will assist with the planting on May 22, 2013.

This opportunity is being funded by Accenture with trees being sourced from the Arbor Day Foundation.  Staff from the Coalition for the Upper South Platte (CUSP) will coordinate with approved applicants to plant the trees.

Please note that CUSP continues to receive donated trees and volunteer time from givers such as Accenture.  If now is not the best time for you to receive a free, planted tree, similar opportunities are expected to occur again in the future and your requests for trees will be kept for future projects (no guarantees!).

Click here for more details and to download and print the application.

Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. On the application, please indicate whether or not you may be interested in multiple trees.
