Locations of Sand and Sandbags

The City of Colorado Springs has established a self-help sandbag filling station at Wilson United Methodist Church, 6460 Flying W Ranch Road. Free sand is available, but you'll need to bring your own shovel.

Empty sandbags may be obtained at the following fire stations:

  • Station 18: 6830 Hadler View near Flying W Road and Centennial
  • Station 9: 622 Garden of the Gods Rd.
  • Station 12: 445 Rockrimmon Blvd.
  • Station 5: 2830 W. Colorado Ave.

We sincerely appreciate the cooperation of the members of Wilson United Methodist Church to assist the community in this way.
