Neighborhood Mitigation Impact FAQ

As previously announced, a concert anniversary event is being planned for June 26th in Mountain Shadows Park to honor all those who contributed to the fight against the Waldo Canyon and Black Forest Fires. We will demonstrate support of families who have been impacted by these fires, including Mountain Shadows, Black Forest, surrounding neighborhoods, first responders, and the greater Colorado Springs area.

To answer questions regarding potential community impacts from the event on the immediate surrounding Mountain Shadows Park neighbors, the following FAQ has been prepared to provide answers and contact information for those in the immediate park vicinity.

Of course, the planning committee hopes that you will join us on the date of the event to come together as neighbors to honor others and ourselves as we remember and move beyond the events of that day one year ago.
