Waldo Canyon Fire Anniversary Event: A New Beginning & A Sign of Hope

The Mountain Shadows community has suffered much over the last year.  The residents of Mountain Shadows have shown such resilience, fortitude and commitment to rebuild and restore their neighborhood which will undoubtedly serve as an example and ray of hope for those who are now suffering loss in the Black Forest Fire.

On the one-year anniversary of the Waldo Canyon Fire, Colorado Springs will come together as a community to remember our losses, celebrate how far we have come, and transition into a new beginning

All ages are welcome to attend this free event.

Enjoy music from the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, the Flying W Wranglers, Mango fan Django, the Colorado Springs Children’s Chorale and some heartfelt words of thanks.

Food will be available for purchase from the Flying W Ranch and Josh & John’s ice cream.  

Alcohol is not permitted. Pets are discouraged for their own safety since a large crowd is anticipated.
