Meeting to Review Insurance Complaints

The Catastrophic Insurance Complaints in Colorado (CICIC) Association has organized a call-to-action meeting with invited representatives from the Colorado DORA Division of Insurance - Consumer Affairs (Dora) and with the support of elected officials to a) highlight the concerns to DORA and b) start the process for resolving these concerns and complaints.

Who Should Attend: All homeowners who have conflicts with their insurance companies or are concerned about the damage to their homes.

In Attendance: DORA representatives, the residents that comprise Catastrophic Insurance Complaints in Colorado (CICIC) Association, and delegates from the State (Senator Kent Lambert, Representatives Claire Levy and Bob Gardner) and County (Commissioner Sallie Clark).

  • What is DORA currently doing to resolve insurance complaints?
  • How can DORA assist in settlement time extension?
  • How can DORA assist policy holders who suffered a partial loss?
  • Can DORA address concerns with mortgage company insurance payments?
