Meeting Starts at 7:30 a.m. March 14th

CORRECTION: The Mountain Shadows Park Board Meeting will begin at 7:30 a.m., not p.m. We apologize for the typo in our previous email, and for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The third Mountain Shadows Park public meeting was held on March 6th, 2013 to review the Draft Master Plan. Comments from the meeting were overall favorable for the Master Plan, with the exception of the "event gathering plaza."

The Parks Staff have modified the Master Plan to eliminate the formal gathering plaza from the design. The park will still be able to accommodate large gathering events organized by the community in the multiuse play fields and at the picnic pavilion plaza.

What:

With that modification, the Mountain Shadows Park Master Plan will be presented to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.

Your attendance and support is encouraged as the Parks Board considers the Mountain Shadows Master Plan.

For additional information, please visit the Master Plan webpage or the Mountain Shadows Park section on the Colorado Springs Together website.
