Please Don't Venture onto Flying W Property

As many of you have seen in the media and around the neighborhood, Flying W Ranch property restoration is underway. The debris from the site of the ranch has been removed in anticipation of activities restarting this summer. Many volunteers, as well as the ranch staff, are busy removing trees and planting seedlings. In addition, much work has been done in conjunction with the City of Colorado Springs and other organizations on the property to mitigate the risk of flooding.

Despite all this great work, the ranch property is full of hazards created by the fire. The natural landscape will experience a lengthy recovery. For your own safety, please do not venture onto the property. You should be aware that the ranch is private property and the “no trespassing” law will be enforced. Please refer to this announcement from Flying W Ranch.

Thank you for respecting that the ranch is private property and for remaining aware of the need stay away from the area for safety reasons.
