Saturday Giveaway: Native Perennials!

As we announced last week, Southwest Farms, Inc., a nursery in Pueblo, is generously delivering the remaining 6,000 of their 12,000 donated perennial plants and ornamental grasses to Woodmen Valley Chapel on Saturday.

Woodmen Valley Chapel is offering the plants to Mountain Shadows residents to help green up the neighborhood, with the goal of having all the plants picked up by 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The owners of Southwest Farms, Inc. will be around at Woodmen Valley Chapel for a bit on Saturday morning, so let's be sure to give them a warm welcome and thank them for their generosity.

On behalf of the neighborhood of Mountain Shadows and the community of Colorado Springs, we would like to extend heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the nursery and to the Woodmen Valley Chapel volunteers for all their work on this project.

When:
Saturday, August 3, 2013
8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Where:
Woodmen Valley Chapel
290 East Woodmen Road
Colorado Springs, CO 80919
