Free Farmer's Market, Week 3 - 9/6/12

Last week's free farmer's market was another great success!

We will keep the traffic flow the same as last week, so please see the map below. We will have the signs out again to help keep things simple.

Another heartfelt thank you to Care and Share, all of the volunteers, and all of the Mountain Shadows residents who stopped by!

As we mentioned last week, the hours will vary from week to week, so please read the farmer's market reminder each week to check the times. Details for this week are below.

What:
Exclusively for all those affected by the Waldo Canyon Fire.

If you are a fire fighter, first responder, former or current evacuee, are displaced, or are temporarily or permanently unemployed because of the fire, please come and receive what your community has so generously given to you.

Fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and dairy as well as non-perishable meal boxes will be available at no cost.

Colorado Springs Together is a community-driven volunteer effort, and is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The team members are distinguished citizens and business professionals in the community facilitating and coordinating a quick and effective rebuilding process for the neighborhoods devastated on June 26th by the fire. The donations received will go towards the activities required to help restore the lives and the neighborhoods affected by the fire at the same time maintaining a strong sense of community during the rebuilding process.
