Last Farmer's Market Week 6

Autumn is upon us and the season for Farmer's Markets has come to a close. This Friday will be the final Mountain Shadows free farmer's market.

We are grateful for the countless hours Care and Share and the volunteers put into this program. We are also thankful to the entire Colorado Springs community for giving wholeheartedly to make this market a reality.

We had great feedback about last week's traffic route, and so we will repeat the same route this week. Traffic should come from west Flying W Ranch road, turning left onto Hadler in order to avoid traffic congestion on Centennial. Please see the map below.

If you are a fire fighter, first responder, former or current evacuee, are displaced, or were temporarily or permanently unemployed because of the fire, please come and receive what your community has so generously given to you.

Fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and dairy as well as non-perishable meal boxes will be available at no cost.

The team members are distinguished citizens and business professionals in the community facilitating and coordinating a quick and effective rebuilding process for the neighborhoods devastated on June 26th by the fire. The donations received will go towards the activities required to help restore the lives and the neighborhoods affected by the fire at the same time maintaining a strong sense of community during the rebuilding process.
