Mountain Shadows Debris Removal

In order to minimize further impact to the neighborhoods and residents, we have established a deadline of 9/30/12 by which to have all building debris removed. The City of Colorado Springs Planning and Code Enforcement departments will be communicating directly with any homeowners who have not yet been issued permits for the removal of fire debris.

As we informed the community in a 9/5/12 email, the bulk cleanup program is over as of 8/31/12.

GE Johnson has completed their work in the neighborhood and has provided some names of licensed contractors they have worked with, to help residents with any remaining needs for debris removal:

  • Buffalo Builders: 719-578-8100
  • Custom Environmental Services: 719-598-1557
  • Hudspeth & Associates: 303-791-5562
  • Speedy Demolition: 719-528-6136

If you are still in need of a debris removal estimate, these licensed contractors are a great place to start as they know the proper process and protocol for debris removal.

You may also still sign up for debris removal via the form below.

Every homeowner has complete liberty to select any contractor for debris removal, as there are a variety of licensed and approved contractors are available to carry out this work. However, before selecting a contractor, it is always a good idea to check the Better Business Bureau's database, as well as the resources available on the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department website.

I am interested in the Mountain Shadows debris removal effort.
