Colorado Sustainability Conference

For any resident that was impacted by the Waldo Canyon Fire, the Colorado Sustainability Conference is offering the following for $50:
Conference registration
Two luncheons
Two continental breakfasts
Expo Hall reception
Residents and the general public may attend the conference on Friday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. at no charge.

What:

The conference is offering several sessions about moving forward after the Waldo Canyon Fire: rebuilding, erosion control, agency responses and post-fire best management practices.

In addition, the Mayor of Greensburg will be speaking about how his Kansas town was completely destroyed, was able to rebuild, and was able to secure energy efficiency grants and use renewable energy in rebuilding.

There is also a Sustainable Buildings Tour on Friday afternoon and Saturday for an additional $5, sponsored by the SE Colorado Renewable Energy Society.
