Mountain Shadows Harvest Festival

In an effort to bring community, friends and family together, and to provide a safe place for kids to trick-or-treat, Wilson United Methodist Church invites residents affected by the Waldo Canyon Fire to a special Harvest Festival and Trunk-or-Treat event. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come!

When:

Wednesday, October 31, 2012
Begins at 5:30 p.m.

Colorado Springs, CO 80919

What:

The fun will include:

  • Children’s games
  • A free community chili dinner
  • Trunk-or-treating
  • There will also be free coats, hats and gloves for adults, youth and children who were affected by the Waldo Canyon Fire.

Please bring:

  • A basket to collect candy in (if you want to trunk-or-treat)
  • Your Halloween costume
  • And a spirit that is ready to have some fun!

Colorado Springs Together is a community-driven volunteer effort, and is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The team members are distinguished citizens and business professionals in the community facilitating and coordinating a quick and effective rebuilding process for the neighborhoods devastated on June 26th by the fire. The donations received will go towards the activities required to help restore the lives and the neighborhoods affected by the fire at the same time maintaining a strong sense of community during the rebuilding process.
