Ashes to Art on display at Chapel Hills Mall
On May 6th, we announced the "Ashes to Art" project by Steve Weed. The works incorporate actual charcoal and ashes left by the fire. To read the original announcement, including the story behind the project, click here.
The collection is currently on display at the Chapel Hills Mall on the upper level between Dillard's and the central court. We encourage you to stop by to view the striking exhibit before June 21st between 1-6 p.m. daily.
Proceeds from the auction of this powerful and emotive body of work will go to Colorado Springs Together for use in building the Waldo Canyon Fire Memorial.
