Two Upcoming Neighborhood Workshops

As announced previously, the Mountain Shadows Park will be improved and renovated, as part of the restoration of the neighborhood, with extensive input from citizens living within the community. The project is expected to be completed by August 2013.

The first step in the public process will be a neighborhood workshop to receive citizen ideas and input.

There will be two opportunities for you to attend the workshop. These are two identical meetings for your convenience.

Wednesday, January 9, 2013
6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Saturday, January 12, 2013
9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Chipeta Elementary Gymnasium
2340 Ramsgate Terrace
Colorado Springs, CO 80919

We've already received great feedback from residents! If you have already given us your input about the details of the park renovation, please reiterate this information at the meetings and/or in the surveys. If you plan to attend either meeting, you may choose to prepare for the discussion by visiting for a full timeline of the project, a park survey, a kid’s idea drawing sheet, and other information.
