Regional Building Department Opens Satellite Mountain Shadows Office

Colorado Springs Together would like to inform you about the new Regional Building Department (RBD) office in your area. RBD is fully committed to the successful and timely restoration of the Mountain Shadows Community. As a dedication to this, RBD has opened a satellite office near the Mountain Shadows subdivision, located at 1472 W. Garden of the Gods.

This office will be staffed by Jim Pepper, Deputy Building Official - Construction Division. Jim's charge is to meet, interact and provide information to the residents; assist contractors in the successful completion of their defined scope of work; and assure that all construction activity is properly permitted.

Permits will not be issued from this office. However, Jim will have real time access to all plans/ permits and inspection data. Satellite office hours are 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Jim's direct phone number is 719-963-9837.

Colorado Springs Together is a community-driven volunteer effort, and is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The team members are distinguished citizens and business professionals in the community facilitating and coordinating a quick and effective rebuilding process for the neighborhoods devastated on June 26th by the fire. The donations received will go towards the activities required to help restore the lives and the neighborhoods affected by the fire at the same time maintaining a strong sense of community during the rebuilding process.
