Lynn Billman, the project manager representing the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) for the Greensburg, Kansas recovery, will be visiting Colorado Springs to share useful information regarding re-imagining and rebuilding with sustainability features that benefit the entire community.

NREL was integral to the recovery effort in Greensburg, which has established itself as an international model of energy effective recovery and new eco-tourism destination.

Please join us to hear Lynn Billman and to discuss strategies that may be incorporated in the neighborhoods affected by the fire, which are now starting their recovery and rebuilding process.

Colorado Springs Together is a community-driven volunteer effort, and is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The team members are distinguished citizens and business professionals in the community facilitating and coordinating a quick and effective rebuilding process for the neighborhoods devastated on June 26th by the fire. The donations received will go towards the activities required to help restore the lives and the neighborhoods affected by the fire at the same time maintaining a strong sense of community during the rebuilding process.
