Presentation of Proposed Fire Code

Council of Neighbors and Organizations (CONO), and Colorado Springs Together are sponsoring a meeting to discuss the Fire Marshal's proposed Ordinance for reducing fire danger in the area affected by the Waldo Canyon Fire.

Topics of Discussion
A presentation briefing residents on the new proposed code requirements, why they are being proposed, how much it will cost homeowners, how insurance companies will respond. There will also be discussion about lessons learned from the fire, actions going forward, and builder input.
