Colorado Springs Together Discount Card

We are pleased to inform the community that we have just announced the Colorado Springs Together Discount Card, and are currently recruiting merchants for participation. After merchants are on board, we will make another announcement to the community, at which time residents will be able to pick up their discount cards at the Colorado Springs Together center.

The discount card will aid the 4000+ impacted Mountain Shadows residents by allowing businesses the opportunity to offer discounts on goods and services. Some folks may use the discounts for a much needed night out. Some will benefit from the discounts as they replace their possessions and household items.

In order to participate in the program, merchants must:

  • Offer at least a 20% discount threshold (or equivalent deal)
  • Honor the discount until at least the end of 2013
  • Communicate the program to business staff so they can best serve the cardholders

When it is time, we will update you with further details about receiving your card.

For questions regarding this initiative, please contact:
Ron Hehr at ron@COStogether.org

If you know of any businesses that may want to participate in this program, please send them to our website to register: www.coloradospringstogether.org/involved/

To provide you with this discount card, Colorado Springs Together is working in conjunction with Heartland Payment Systems - a local payment processing service who produced the cards - as well as the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce/EDC, the Convention and Visitors Bureau, merchant and business associations, High Country Attractions, iManitou, Woodland Park Chamber of Commerce, and many other organizations.

Note to the Community: We have approximately 2000 Mountain Shadows contacts with whom we communicate regularly via these informational emails. Nonetheless, we occasionally run across someone who is unaware of our ongoing communications efforts. If you know anyone who is not receiving these emails, please let them know that the best way to be kept up-to-date with the restoration plans is to sign up for our emails on the bottom of our home page at www.ColoradoSpringsTogether.org. Thank you for supporting your neighbors in this way.
