This is an open entry event. Food and drink will be provided.
Among the many great events planned, there will be:
a doggie costume contest
an agility course race
Howl'ween egg hunts
Prizes will be awarded for:
fastest agility course time
best dog/owner look-alike photo
The winners will be chosen by event judges; CSPD Commander Fletcher Howard will be judging the doggie costume event. Winners will be announced on the Mutts Welcome website www.meetup.com/Mutts-Welcome following the benefit.
A camera volunteer will snap photos of people and their pets. The photos will be uploaded to the Mutts Welcome website and judged for the best look-alike pair.
A professional photographer will have a Howl'ween backdrop set where pet and owner can have their photo taken together.
Upon entry and $5 donation, each guest will be given a raffle ticket to be entered to win some great prizes:
free self-service dog washes
free doggie day care
gift certificates to local restaurants
and much more!
Extra raffle tickets can be purchased for an additional $5 each.
12:00 p.m. – Guests arrive, explore, have refreshments and socialize
1:00 p.m. – Agility contest
2:00 p.m. – Best howl judging
3:00 p.m. – Doggie costume contest
The Howl'ween egg hunts will start on the hour every hour with the first beginning at noon.

Colorado Springs Together is a community-driven volunteer effort, and is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The team members are distinguished citizens and business professionals in the community facilitating and coordinating a quick and effective rebuilding process for the neighborhoods devastated on June 26th by the fire. The donations received will go towards the activities required to help restore the lives and the neighborhoods affected by the fire at the same time maintaining a strong sense of community during the rebuilding process.
